Soccer has come and gone...It was a great year. Chloee's team only lost 2 games, and Shayley's WON all of them...yes that's right...they were UNDEFEATED!!! Way to go girls. One game, Chloee made 7 goals. She was sooo excited. It was an awesome game. Shayley played defense. Her coach told her she's the best defense player in the league. Awe...I'm so proud of these girls. It was so much fun to go and watch their games. Even Corbin loved to watch. He still says "lets go to the SOCKEE game"...We look forward to next year.

Guess Who's 10

GUESS WHO'S 10

That's right...Shayley turned 10 on September 26th! I just can't figure

out what happened to the time. This little girl grew up so fast! She

never wanted to be little...ever since the day she was born she

wanted to be BIG like her older sister. I feel like I've missed her growing

up...but I've been there for all of it! One day she was this little tiny

girl...and the next she's a beautiful young lady. Shay we love you

so much and are so thankful to have you in our family. Thanks

for your kind heart and your generosity!

For Shay's birthday she invited 5 of her friends over. We ate PIZZA,

did CRAFTS, opened PRESENTS, at CAKE, played the WII, and 3 out of the 5

spent the night. Shayley had a great time and I even got to act

like a 10 year old again...It was a lot of FUN!!!

This was Corbin's first time actually dunking his cookie

in his milk...he thought that was the neatest thing ever!!!

It was also the first time he'd ever licked the beeter. As you can

tell by the pictures...IT WAS GREAT!!!

Yes, this is becoming an every year event! The kids absolutely love doing it.

The kids bought their lambs this year from the Garfields. They grew like

WEEDS. Lexie's was the biggest when we got them, but Shayleys

passed hers by in no time...she was the HOG of the two. These

lambs were twins...Lexie's was a weather and Shayley's was a ewe.

For the most part it was an enjoyable summer taking care of these

two lambs...all but the bickering and fighting that would take

place once we got down there. Lexie would get so upset at her lamb

for not gaining weight or maybe loosing a few pounds. But it all paid off

in the end. They both received BLUE ribbons on their sheep and

showmanship...That's awesome for Shayley's first year, and for Lexie

that's a step up from the last two years...since she only received

a RED ribbon the two years prior. Of course, they would've loved

to have done better, but there's always next year...They worked hard

and they received 1st place ribbons (not to shabby if ya ask me)!!!

Labor Day

~LABOR DAY WEEKEND~

This year we went out on the boat on Saturday. We had soooo much fun!

We bought this HUGE tube and all the girls as well as myself got to enjoy

being pulled all around Enterprise Reservoir...I've never laughed so

hard in my life. It was a BLAST! We only spent 4 hours there,

but I'm telling ya I don't think we coulda lasted much longer.

It's a WORKOUT trying to stay on...

It's a ritual to go to Parowan on Labor Day...We start off with the parade,

then head over to the fair...Lexie put in a drawing of an Elk, and

earned a BLUE ribbon...she of course thought she shoulda

won GRAND CHAMPION!!! then we headed over to the

carnival. It was soooo expensive that we didn't ride to many

rides, but each one of us got to ride at least one ride.

Corbin wouldn't ride with Chloee so Mike had to get into

this TINY little boat and ride with him...check out is face, it's

PRICELESS!!!

K, this little guy is a riot. We went to sign the girls up for dance and

guess who fell in love with the clogging shoes...yes little CORBIN JAMES.

He found a pair of shoes there that were just his size...and the next

thing I know he's out there dancing away!!! He was really sad when

I made him take them off...I think we have a future

CLOGGER in the fam!!!

Back To School

**BACK TO SCHOOL**

The GIRLS went back to school on the 19th.

This is a GOOD thing. These girls were at each others throats ALL summer long. Lexie watched them and it was quite the experience...but they are still among the LIVING so they can't complain RIGHT!!! Summer went by fast...but at the same time it was a LONG one!!!

Glad to be back on a schedule...even though its a hectic one--with soccer and dance OH MY!!!

But I'm ready for it :) Love ya GIRLS.

Oh and little Corbin just had to have his picture taken on the 1st day of school too!
