Yes, this is becoming an every year event! The kids absolutely love doing it.

The kids bought their lambs this year from the Garfields. They grew like

WEEDS. Lexie's was the biggest when we got them, but Shayleys

passed hers by in no time...she was the HOG of the two. These

lambs were twins...Lexie's was a weather and Shayley's was a ewe.

For the most part it was an enjoyable summer taking care of these

two lambs...all but the bickering and fighting that would take

place once we got down there. Lexie would get so upset at her lamb

for not gaining weight or maybe loosing a few pounds. But it all paid off

in the end. They both received BLUE ribbons on their sheep and

showmanship...That's awesome for Shayley's first year, and for Lexie

that's a step up from the last two years...since she only received

a RED ribbon the two years prior. Of course, they would've loved

to have done better, but there's always next year...They worked hard

and they received 1st place ribbons (not to shabby if ya ask me)!!!
