Arizona Day 5

FIFTH DAY!
Diamond Backs Game!!!
This was the highlight of the trip!  We all got dressed up in our Diamond Backs get up and off to the game we went!  This was so much fun!  The hotdogs, garlic fries, and burgers were delish (Pricey, but delish).  It was a chance in a lifetime!  We all got into the game (yelling and the whole 9 yards).  Corbin had fun playing on the toys and caught everyone's eye, since he's such a cute little guy!  Good times, Good times!!!

Arizona Days 1 through 4

ARIZONA
(Sierra Vista)
In June...yes, June of all times to be headed to Arizona!  It just so happened to be Mike's 20 year REUNION (Class of 1991)!  I know it...he's getting old (MIDDLE AGED, as Shayley puts it!)  So, we decided to make a vacation out of it.  The first night was a meet and greet/banquet!  Mike got to see people he hadn't seen in 20 years.  I of course, only knew a handful!  It was fun to see his reaction as well as theirs!
FIRST NIGHT!

SECOND DAY!
These two below: Jay and Loy Anderson were awesome!  They let us stay with them for the week.  They treated us like family!  My kids loved them and still call them Grandpa Jay and Grandma Loy!  We so appreciated their hospitality and hope to go visit them again!

~BAND CONCERT~
Mike actually spent the whole weekend with
his band group (since they were having their
reunion at the same time)...He's an awesome Trumpet Player!
Doesn't he look like he knows what he's doing!
This was the concert that they performed in.
It was pretty neat to have them all back together 20
years later!  They actually sounded pretty good!

THIRD DAY!
We went out to the Band teacher's house, where he had all kinds of fun things set up for the kids.  It was soooo hot that day, but when the kids found out there were horses there, they didn't care how hot it was.  We ate a nice lunch and enjoyed visiting with Mike's friends.

 Corbie.  He absolutely loves wheelbarrows!
When he found this one, he wasn't gonna let it go
without a fight!

FOURTH DAY!
We took the kids to Kartchner's Cavern!  It's an underground cave full of Ice Crystals!  It was fascinating!  Corbin was even good in there!  In fact, the guide said that he was the best toddler she'd ever had in there.  Way to go Corbie!
 The Fam outside the cave!
This was a sloth that was found in the cave
(well actually a replica of the sloth they found in there)
They're HUGE!
Plaque listing the details of the park!
Actual bones of the sloth they found in the cave!
This is what it looks like inside the cave
(you can't take pictures inside the cave, so they
have these replicas in the museum to photograph)
A picture of the longest "Soda Straw" in the cave!

~TOMBSTONE~
This is such a fun old town.  Lexie actually loved it, and wanted to stay longer, but Corbin had had enough and we had to leave earlier than Lexie would've liked to.  She really loves the cowboy era, and said that she would've loved to have lived back in that day!  I don't know if she could survive without all her electronics!  She however, thinks it would've been great!  See, her and her dad really are alike!
Lex found this lovely Sombrero
and had to pose (OLE')

in his Wild, Wild West get up!
He loved this outfit so much, that when we
went to take it off, he had a major freak out!
It took Mike, Lexie, and myself to get him
out if it.  Boy did it cause a lot of commotion!!!

Softball, Getting Braces Off, Swimming

SOFTBALL
Lexie and Chloee both played softball this year.  Unfortunately, the pictures I took of Chloee are on my phone, and I'm not sure how to get them off.  Once I figure that out, I'll add them to this post.  Lexie played the normal season, and then played on Allstars.  She didn't enjoy herself too much this year...so, she probably won't be playing next year.  I was so in hopes that she would try out for the Highschool team, but she said she'd rather not.  She's such a good player, but unfortunately with the politics of a small town, she doesn't get to show how good she really is.  I can't say that I blame her, but really love to watch her play.  Chloee really enjoyed playing, and says that she wants to do it again this year.  I'm hoping she does so I can cheer her on.
