Cali Part III

4TH DAY IN CALI

This was probably our busiest day. We went to the

"WILD ANIMAL PARK"

We had the BEST time. It was a LOT of walking but we all enjoyed it. We were able to go on a SAFARI ride and see animals that you wouldn't be able to see otherwise. Corbin was having soooo much fun that he didn't take a nap until 3:00 p.m. while we were on the safari ride. He just didn't want to miss anything. All was well until we were leaving and Chloee wanted a souvenier. I told her we weren't getting one and thats when all heck broke loose. So if you're wondering why she isn't in the last picture of all the kids...well she refused to be in it. So she's in one all by herself with NO SMILE on her face :)

Cali Part II

2nd and 3rd day in

CALI

We Played at the BEACH a LOT! The Girls had soooo much FUN finding SEA SHELLS! They went up and down the BEACH hunting them down...Corbin on the other hand, didn't like the SAND in between his TOES! Every time he'd walk in the SAND he'd sit down and pull his shoes off and say CA CA! He was terrified of the WATER...he said it was SCARY WATER! We finally got him to go out just a little bit, and then a WAVE came and knocked him down and that was it... he wouldn't have anymore to do with the WATER! Then we went to LAGUNA BEACH. I was wanting a TOE RING and that's where they were, so we headed there on the 3rd day. It was FUN. All the girls and I had our toes fitted for toe rings. While we were doing that Corbin and Mike went for a little stroll. Once we got done there, we headed down to the BEACH. It was a nice beach, but definitely not as nice as the one in OCEANSIDE! The town was nicer, but not the beach. We walked down the streets and peeked into the windows of all the fancy stores. Then we went back to the CONDO and watched Alice in Wonderland :)

Cali Part I

1ST DAY OF CALI

We went to Oceanside California this year on May 28th...just a few days after the kids got out of school. We broke the trip up on the way down...stopping at the Mall, Staying at Papa and Grammie's in Las Vegas, shopping at the outlet mall in Barstow, stopping for a potty break in Baker...you know how it is when you have LITTLE ONES traveling with ya. We had a good time though. The first day we spent most of the day traveling and playing in the pool at the CONDO! That night we splurged and ate at JOE'S CRAB SHACK! Soooo yummy...the kids so enjoyed it. But we spent our wad there so we didn't eat out much after that...That's the good thing about staying at the condos is you can prepare your meals there and don't HAVE to eat out every meal. So we called the local SCHWAN'S guy and ate schwan's for the week! Yeah, we still ate GOOD :) It was a long day, but so worth it!

DANCE

LEXIE and SHAYLEY did awesome this year in DANCE! Their dance group won Over All Performance at the Dance Competition this year. Oh how I love to watch them DANCE!

THE DAY IN ZIONS

We took a day and went to Zions on FREE ENTRY DAY! It was busy there, but we had a great time. We had a picnic, went on a few hikes, and sat and enjoyed the beauty! The KIDS were whipped out and three out of the four fell asleep on the way home!
