Corbin's 1 year pictures

Okay...so here's Corbin's 1 year picture! He had such a good time during his photo session. He was so funny. Can you believe he's already 1 (I seriously can't). What a fun little boy he's been. His new word is "Thank You" (ta ta)...way cute! ENJOY!

Where did the Summer Go???

Oh my, the summer flew by! What did it consist of you might ask, well let me just tell ya.
*At the beginning of summer Lexie started soft ball. Oh how we love to watch that girl play ball. She did great! Her team was first in her league. Then, we found out that she made ALLSTARS! Cedar American... oh was she excited. So, we played ball till the middle of July. She played well, but ended up in 3rd, which is still great. We were so proud of her. Way to go LEX!
*Through the summer, we raised two sheep. Lexie bought them, and they were hers, but we all had a part in raising them. Every day I would take them (the kids) down to "horse alley" and we would walk the sheep. It was actually pretty fun. Lex and Shayley would walk the sheep, Chloee would ride her bike, and I would push Corbin in the stroller. It was a great way to exercise. Then, in September, when the livestock show came around, Lexie and her dad took one of the sheep and headed off to the livestock show. She did great in her showmanship and received a 1st place ribbon. But, the sheep itself ended up in I believe it was 13th place. But, all in all I think she did awesome. The sheep looked great and she ended up selling it for $550, which I think is great.
*In August, Shayley and Chloee started Soccer. Now, this is not my favorite sport to watch. I don't know all the rules, so it makes it hard for me to know exactly what's going on. But it was fun to watch them play. Shayley's team won I think 4 games out of 8; and Chloee's team won 7 games out of 8. This was Shayley's 2nd year playing soccer, so she pretty much knows what's going on, and did really good. She got to play in every position. Now, Chloee on the other hand, well she was a hoot to watch. The first game all she did was jump around the ball...she played goalie and got hit in the stomach twice, the ball went through her legs, and one time she was off in lala land while the ball went into the goal. However, she was the only one to make a goal at that same game... But, she did get better towards the end of the season.
*School started in August as well, so our lives were pretty hectic for a while. They played their last games last week (thank goodness cause it's dang cold here right now). We went to SEP's last week and all of the girls are doing FABULOUS! That's sooo good to hear.
*Clogging started in September...Lex and Shay are clogging, but Chloee is taking the year off. She wants to start gymnastics at the beginning of the year.
Well that pretty much sums it up. I was going to type this up when I added the pictures of summer, but I guess I got side tracked!!! ha ha imagine that....
